What a lovely little town! I went with a friend and enjoyed the quiet pace 🙂
We had a 2 hour delay on the trains getting from Toulouse —>Bordeaux —> La Rochelle but we made it after all 🙂 The hotel was fine and it was an easy 15 min walk to the city centre.
We had some good Asian food and seafood as well 🙂 We walked around a lot and checked out the market, shops, walked around the old town, checked out the park areas 🙂
We ate at:
- le p’tit bleu: casual little seafood place by the water: nice!
- le merluberlu: lovely bistro by the port! Really enjoyed the fish here and wine!
- le panier de crabe: so much seafood omg! nice sea snails mmmm 🙂
- Minato: good japanese food! Fried chicken and ramen were alright!
- Gurou : some vegan food, quite nice 🙂
I got to catch up with a friend too and that was so nice 🙂 We video called her twin sister, my friend too! And her husband 😀 It was nice to see everyone!
My friend and I also got caught in the rainstorm unfortunately! But all good, we made it back ok 🙂 Good final trip before I wrapped up in Toulouse!
Speaking of…. It was a hectic week cleaning, giving stuff away and catching up with people. I was glad to give most of my stuff away for people to use and enjoy 🙂 Got some yummy lunches in at Motchiya, Kebab Cafe, Cecile and Les Sales Gosses again! 😀 My friends were helpful to help me inspect my room and also to take all my luggage… wow so heavy! How did I get so much stuff omg
I had some drinks with the flatmates too at le Guinguette de Galleries 🙂 Nice place and good vibes.
The checkout was fine too; The fellow was so quick! Last few times took like 45 mins but he was done in like 18 mins flat!
I then went over to my friend’s house and we made Singapore noodles and watched Fleabag season 2. It was fun 🙂 I also went to my fav bar, the one @ VH, for 1 last drink and to say au revoir. ❤ ahhhh how bittersweet
Then, that was it. I went onto the train with no issues re: size nor weight of luggage. And…. I was off.
Thanks Toulouse and see you soon…..Gosh time flies.
