Got my first jab with Pfizer! The staff @ Hall 8 by Ile de Ramier were all very professional, efficient and friendly. And online woooo hoooo Gotta hand it to the French here; Definitely got themselves sufficiently organised: Thumbs up les gens! *so far… just had a bit of a sore arm and a bit tired but
Went out with new flatemate and met some more new people at Wine Bar Alimentation : Location 24 Place a la Bourse is better than the one at Place Wilson FYI. Just better vibes 🙂 It was bloody chockers – Good thing our table was to the side and I was at the edge so I was away from people a bit more eeps! Then more cheese and poire eau de vie – Holy Strong Stuff batman this is not for beginners.
Then, the next day, more drinks at la reserve and lebanese food @ Chez Nous les Libanais – Decent food, generally fast, shitty wine, cheap and friendly 🙂
Flatmate moved out on Tuesday back to St. Etienne. Hope she’ll be better poor poppet – Been feelin flat and missin home. She’ll be alright though 🙂
Lunch with C: Yummy salmon prepped by her restauranteur friend :D! New Flatmate A had 2 friends just start on their year long travel journey and had biked ~500Km from Limoges 🙂 They were lovely lads and made Tartiflette – Glad I didn’t have a heart attack with all that cheese, lardons, potatoes lol M came along with us and after a sneaky drink + snack on the terrace, we went to Santine and that enjoyed some classic French restaurant food 🙂 It was a lovely night on the terrace as we enjoyed some Pic Saint Loup and lots of food.
I caught up with another friend and her and I discovered Perlette does sneaky drinkies and isn’t that busy nor expensive: Huzzah! Would definitely go back there hehe Dinner afterwards for tried & true reliable Vietnamese @ Haozai 🙂 They opened up ad expanded their terrace but it’s still nice and spacious 🙂 Before the vaccine, I had lunch with a good friend at La Tienda: soso lunch cheap but so simple and standard like soup (made in house smashed pea soup which was nice but bland) + sandwich (got the ham and cheese and which it was nice jamon it wasn’t out of this world) or tortilla (spanish omelette and that was alright too) + dessert (the apple tart was nice ; the chocolate cake thing was very average) = 8€ ( we didn’t get any special drinks). Meh.
The weekend away was @ Lac des 3 Vallees 🙂 It’s basically a family, glamping resort. It was fun to go with my family friends and they had 2 other family friends with them too! We cooked some simple meals and had apero dinatoire 😀 Like apero but for dinner : I’m a fan hehe We did many fun activities and I tried paddle boarding for the first time as well as paddle boat! We went for walks and did a parcour. The pizza there was alright and wine too but big portions and not expensive 🙂 I went on the water slide too 😀 It was fun, relaxing and nice to get away into the woods…even with all the facilities and amenities!
