Flat out

I don’t have much to share… news nor energy 😦 It’s been flat out at work and and I’m feeling flat with my visa situation.

There’s been lots to do at work and I had to deal with a situation that was rude and uncalled for. It has since been resolved but very disappointing.

The prefecture here seems to have added new hoops for people to jump through while there has been a very, very slow roll out for vaccines… So now I may have to leave France very soon, while it’s still very expensive, difficult to return home and also put myself and others in a high-risk situation. Not good.

Otherwise, I have seen some friends over the last few days and learned about the Blind Test – which is like a game with music. You put on a playlist of random songs and you all shout out the Artist name and Song title when you know it. Haha very fun 🙂

Just noticed that when you ask something to confirm in French, it ends with “non”… like “Tu aimes le pizza, non?” whereas in English it’s ending in “right”, like “You like pizza, right?”. Interesting as one is more naturally negative / positive than the other…..
