Spring is here and last weekend, though it was cold, it became more sunny!
I hung out with the family and the kids has pretty good energy 🙂 We went to Paris store for Asian food shopping and we bought tons of food! Dim sum, gyozas, chips, sesame snacks, White Rabbit candy, veggies, sauces, drinks wow!
We made some steamed black bean sauce pork spareribs, mixed veggies and simple stir fried gai choi for dinner 🙂 We then watched Totoro ❤
After some good sleep and a big breakfast of bakery treats, we visited the Sept Deniers market. A good array of options but only singles of most things like cheese, meat, fish. A few veggie and an organic stand too and all not too, too pricey 🙂
We made some yummy fried rice for lunch and a mixed mushroom + tofu puff + pork ball dish 🙂
Then we went for a walk in the Japanese Garden. I couldn’t play with the kids on the jungle gym as I didn’t have the right footwear… and I was too full!
I borrowed a pillow from them – a good sturdy one – and my neck and shoulders have stopped hurting! Wow!
It was quite windy and while I got a few good walks and a bike ride in, I may have got some allergies 
Luckily, a restful day on Monday with lots of naps helped 🙂
Overall a pretty chill week at work which was nice!
The weather was amazing this week for a few days so I worked extra hard and took some banked time off on Wednesday when it was like 20C and hung out with a friend in the Prairie de Filtres park. We got some take out from Iori for Japanese Chicken Karrage bento boxes again: yum!! We also got a beer to chill with in the sunshine. It was so nice! We went by Boulangerie St. Aubin and got some treats including some yummy chocolate bread to accompany chai and tea at my friends place! 😀
I borrowed Dance, Dance, Dance by Murakami. Liking it so far!
It was gorgeous on Friday as well so my friends and I walked from the city to Ile de Ramier as well to explore the little trail through the mini forest on the Island! 🙂 It’s so nice and the weather has been warm, no wind and not too hot! 😀
I had a hot stone massage as well. It was just lovely! I feel asleep without knowing and I think I drooled… again….
On Saturday, I found some yummy snacks on sale at Monoprix where the Mushroom + Cream Pringles was 50% off and also the yummy butter & cheese cookies were still on sale (maybe by accident in the system!). I also went to the Asian shop and while they did not have any chinese spring onion pancakes nor xiao long bao, they did have yummy cassava homemade cassava cake and also boba insprired ice cream flavours like hojicha, thai milk tea and brown sugar boba 😀 😀 😀 Hehe I went to my fav bar in VH market and gave one to the owners there lol
