Presque normale?

Things seemed to have really bounce back and it feels like “normal” again:

  • going back to my gym, Movida. It’s great! With the reservations there isn’t as many people so less people hogging machines and equipment! There was one guy who self-nominated to be the police and was snippy to me about leaving the cleaning agent 5 mins 1 metre away… Good grief!
  • back out to party and dance: Went to QG (GoGo Flamingo) and Le Grand Zinc which is a cougar bar (lolz) and and it was just fun to dance to good, old skool music! Drinks were cheap-ish and we got free shots too!
  • book club: it was fun to see the lovely group again. We sat outside at the Moaï cafe. So lovely! It was nice to see my friend K and chat a bit too. It’s been cold so we didn’t stay outside for too too long.
  • started watching the Netflix series Snowpiercer. Very cool dystopian series based on the movie!
  • Tried the relatively new Chinese noodle joint, Zunyi near my place. Pretty tasty! Reasonably priced and some good options on the menu. Would go again! (also not many other options in Toulouse and it’s like 200m from my house LOL)
  • Tried a thai place I’ve walked by many times as well, Santosha Thai. Wow, so unimpressive. Massive portion but wouldn’t recommend it. I added salt, cracked black pepper, garlic powder and sesame oil and that was tasty :p Ohhhh it’s a massive chain across France… no wonder why it kinda sucks, bummer.

Great catching up with friends and just chilling! Kids have been relatively good for babysitting. They don’t seem happy about homework haha.

Started on “The Trial” by Franz Kafka. Pretty interesting so far!

I went to watch M play beach volleyball and brought my disc. I did meat some randoms who were happy to toss the disc around and I was so happy! I sure miss playing frisbee 🙂

My friend J is going to come visit me next week from Paris, yippee! 😀
